Walk-in patients are welcome, but calling before visiting can help reduce waiting time. Some examinations, particularly those requiring pupil dilation or additional tests, may take longer.

Depending on your age, symptoms and risk factors, an examination may include vision and refraction, slit-lamp examination, eye-pressure measurement and examination of the retina and optic nerve. Additional tests are advised when required.

Not every patient requires dilation. Dr Priti Garg may advise dilating drops when a more detailed examination of the retina or optic nerve is needed. Vision may remain temporarily blurred after dilation.

Yes. Dr Priti Garg examines children for refractive errors, squint, lazy eye and other common eye problems. The type of examination depends on the child’s age and symptoms.

Cataract surgery is generally considered when blurred vision, glare or other symptoms begin to interfere with everyday activities. Dr Priti Garg evaluates the cataract and discusses the appropriate timing and lens options.

Yes. The common form of glaucoma can develop gradually without noticeable symptoms in its early stages. Eye-pressure measurement alone is not always sufficient; the optic nerve and other tests may also need assessment.

Yes. OCT imaging is available at the clinic and may be advised for conditions involving the retina, optic nerve or glaucoma. Pachymetry and other ophthalmic investigations are also available when clinically required.

Yes. Diabetes can affect the retina even before noticeable changes in vision occur. The frequency of retinal examination depends on the duration and control of diabetes, previous retinal findings and other individual risk factors.

Prompt examination is particularly important if redness is associated with severe pain, sudden reduction in vision, marked sensitivity to light, an eye injury, chemical exposure or a painful red eye in a contact-lens wearer.

Yes. Dr Priti Garg can assess whether a patient may be suitable for LASIK or another refractive option and advise on further evaluation. Refractive procedures, when advised, are performed at appropriate associated facilities.

Doctor does have attachments with Hospitals and other eye establishments such Yashod Eye Hospital and Shanti Mukund Hospital where the CGHS patients can be managed. Please call and talk to the doctor for further details.

Consultation charges of Dr Priti Garg , Eye Specialist are Rs 1000 which includes thorough eye examination including refraction ,tonometery and basic Fundus examination. Charges for additional investigations or procedures, if advised, are separate. Please call the clinic if you would like to confirm the current fee before visiting.

Please bring your current spectacles, any previous eye prescriptions or investigation reports, and a list of medicines you are taking if relevant. If you have diabetes, glaucoma or another ongoing eye condition, previous reports can be especially useful.

Dilating drops can temporarily blur near vision and increase sensitivity to light for several hours. If dilation is planned, it is safer to arrange transport or avoid driving until your vision feels comfortable and clear again.
